Here's what our 2022 trainees

have to say…

Daniel Brodie

2022 Conveyancing Apprentice

What have you learnt about conveyancing in the last year?

Before joining Aconveyancing I had little to no knowledge of the conveyancing world, since joining the firm I have massively expanded my knowledge in both residential and New Build properties. I am beginning to run my own sale files which includes answering enquiries and keeping the client updated.

How have you found the Aconveyancing training programme?

The training programme with Damar has been very accessible and easy to learn. There are various people you can talk to if you are having issues as well as loads of workshops and coaching sessions available if you are struggling with any topics.

What do you enjoy about working with the Tamworth team?

The Tamworth team are all amazing and were so welcoming. They understood myself and other apprentices had no knowledge and were all happy to help and teach us what was needed. I really enjoy working in a team with Ajay as he has showed me the side of New Build conveyancing which is currently on the rise.

Any highlights from the last year?

There are many exciting highlights from my time at Aconveyancing but one that sticks out to me is the networking event we went to for the showing of Heaton House. It was my first networking event and it was exciting to talk to people that were involved in the conveyancing industry and hear about all the different companies.

What have you learnt about conveyancing in the last year?

Since I have joined the academy I have learned conveyancing in its entirety, I have learnt the process of sale and purchase files specifically and the steps that are taken out in order to complete on the sale or purchase of a home.

How have you found the Aconveyancing training programme?

The training programme has allowed me to understand the process of conveyancing in more legal terms and helped me understand why we follow the necessary procedure. The programme has also helped me understand the legal sector as a whole and the next steps available after the qualification is completed. The one on one meetings scheduled with your training coach is also helpful as it allows you to understand brief feedback and the feedback chat available within the programme allows the work produced to be of a high standard.

What do you enjoy about working with the Tamworth team?

Working with the Tamworth team is very enjoyable, when we started the apprenticeship, everyone made an effort to make us feel welcome and were completely understanding that we were new to the process and did their best to ease us into the process. We are currently sat with people with more experience than us this means we are always able to turn to someone for help and we can listen to the way in which other people handle situations.

Any highlights from the last year?

I especially enjoy the new build aspect of Aconveyancing due to its fast pace nature and seeing clients through completion in the matter of months, I also especially enjoy talking to clients and building a relationship with them which has built on my confidence and communication skills.
